What to do:

Fishing Charters When you can catch your own food, why go to the restaurants? In the Lower Grand Lagoon, like the dive shops, there is only one main fishing charter: Deep Sea Fishing at Jubilee. We have both natural and artificial reefs, which is why we have some of the most extensive and varied fish species in all of Florida. You can fish in any way you want with two massive fishing boats! The Jubilee vessel is for you if you’re looking for a party-oriented or more laid-back vacation! The Treasure Island is the place to go if you want to fish hard! The Treasure Island can accommodate more than 40 passengers, making it the larger of the two vessels. Since the Jubilee has air conditioning and a snack bar on board, this is a great adventure for large family vacations and business trips, as you can imagine! If charter fishing isn’t for you, you can still go beach fishing by renting or bringing your own gear! Naturally, you should walk down the beach to one of the more remote spots to avoid attracting vacationers just looking to have fun.

What to do:

Live Music In contrast to fishing charters and dive shops, Panama City has a plethora of live music venues! They usually take place in venues, bars, and restaurants. Ms. Newby’s Liquors, which is best known for its Hunch Punch, should be the first place mentioned. It’s also a popular spot for everyone to hang out if you’re going to Bike Week or Jeep Jam! Another top spot is Schooners, where you can eat delicious food, listen to live music, and watch the sunset. The same thing is available at Spinnaker Beach Club, which also serves great food! You’re probably looking for a beachy atmosphere in Panama City, and both restaurants offer it. Club La Vela is famous for being the largest nightclub in the United States. It has 48 bar stations, 10 rooms with different themes, and more than 50,000 watts of sound, so if you’re looking for something more direct, go there. This is where you’ll find the party if you come here looking for it!

What to do: Beyond its proximity to the beach, Lower Grand Lagoon’s nightlife is its greatest asset. The Lower Grand Lagoon is the best option if you want to have the most fun while also getting great drinks! Check out our article on the Best Things to Do in Upper Grand Lagoon if you’re looking for activities that are more family-friendly. Foghorn’s Bar & Package is a classic bar with pool and darts for you to check out. With a welcoming atmosphere, it is a popular destination for locals. Vic’s Sports Bar is a great place to really play sports! They have a lot of pool tables, and some nights you can play for free! Another fun bar is fishing-themed: Beer and bait from Buster! In the back, there is a fishing gear store, and in the front, there is everything you need in a bar! The fact that it is actually a non-profit and is owned by veterans is cool. If you’re curious about where everyone from the nearby military base goes, check out Patches Pub & Grill! If you’re in the military, you probably already know about them! The fact that every bar in Panama City has a view of the beach is a great feature! In addition to bars, the town’s restaurants are always bustling! Visit our listing of restaurants in Grand Lagoon to see them in greater detail.

Even though the above list includes many different activities that can be done in the Lower Grand Lagoon, it is by no means comprehensive! We have a list of all the businesses in the area that you should check out if you want to see everything Panama City Beach has to offer! You’ll definitely find everything you’re looking for here!
